Invyt Tanzania

Tanzania

INVY stands for “International Voluntary Year”. When going abroad to another European country from the Czech Republic, you will become a volunteer in the social, diaconal or educational field, who is co-funded by the programme of the European Commission - European Solidarity Corps.

Our as well as our partner’s mission is to ensure space for your personal growth and learning. In your hosting country you will have the support of local supervisors, mentor and coordinators who will help you with these processes.

How will you be supported?

Before the departure and after the return from the host country, you will take part in pre-departure and evaluation seminars in order to consciously reflect on the learning process.

In the host organization, you are supported and led by a supervisor who regularly evaluates the course of the service. You will also have their mentor to keep you entertained when you are not working.

Another key role is played by the voluntary service coordinator. In addition to coordinating the INVYT programme, he/she also organizes supervision sessions with you and supports the learning of both you and your supervisor.

Practicalities:

  • You will work 5 days a week, 6 hours a day
  • You will have 2 days off each week and 2 additional days of holiday each month
  • Receiving pocket money (2 000 CZK) and food allowance (2 900 CZK) is a matter of course as well as providing you with accommodation
