Volunteer in CZ

It’s time to volunteer!

Do you want to live abroad?
Do you want to develop your talents?
Do you enjoy being challenged?

Volunteering is a service about giving people support and expecting nothing. If you're a person with an open heart for others or you want to improve your professional skills and collect experience, you are in the right place. We show you that the voluntary service in the Czech Republic is much more meaningful and gives you more than your expectations are. The doors of new moments are opening, it is only your choice to take the first step and come in.

The voluntary year brings you exploring a new country and its culture. You will be part of the local community and they are pleased to share czech habits and customs with you. It’s a time to meet new friends, travel to new places and self-learn. You’ll get a special opportunity for your own ideas and self-realization during mini projects with your clients depending on your interest, hobbies and creativity. Your journey is definitely challenging, but you will participate in many seminars to get new inspiration and meet other volunteers.

You will never be alone during the service. The supervisor will fully support you in your daily life. The mentor will provide you with many tips to fulfill your leisure time. The volunteers from the different parts of the world will share and enjoy joyful moments with you. Coordinators will encourage you in your learning journey and self-education. You, volunteer, you will bring new energy and enthusiasm to our lives.

Senior people are well of wisdom thanks to their rich life experience and they are often more than happy to share it by storytelling. You as well are invited to draw from the well and also to share your presence, skills and talents. In the placements we offer below, you can work with senior people who have open hearts as well as arms for YOU!

“During my first lunch time on the placement, they tell me I can help. I feel someone watching and suddenly, I see a big smile, so I smile cordially back. Now, I will come to work every day just to see the lady’s smile and tell her how she is doing a great job by holding the spoon on her own!”

(Alisa, volunteer 2020/2021)
